Tent debacle, updated

Yesterday evening a kind soul to whom I had related my story of woe and tent failure, drove around town until he saw my bike outside of a restaurant.
He found me inside and brought me his old tent, one he was sure functioned as it should.
It’s like there’s a contest for the kindest Husker.
Can’t wait to see pictures of the new tent!

4:56a: I wake and since my alarm is set for 5:05, I turn it off and grab my book. Reading helps clear my head of sleep’s shroud.

Enjoy! Maybe take the time for more tech descriptions…like hand and back positions…I noticed you have a pretty ergonomic handlebar setup. Where do you most often park your hands? What about seat height?
